Multi-week series focused on skill-building, social connection, and wellbeing
We Art One’s senior creative workshops provide older adults with consistent, welcoming spaces to explore artmaking and connect with others. Offered as multi-week series—such as Creative Clay and Creative Connections—these programs are designed to be accessible to participants of all experience levels.
Led by professional teaching artists, workshops focus on hands-on skill-building, creative play, and personal expression while moving at a pace that supports comfort and confidence. Sessions encourage conversation, storytelling, and mutual support alongside artmaking.
Across three senior-focused programs, 32 seniors have participated, with 86% reporting improved social connection and overall wellbeing. These programs play an important role in reducing isolation, supporting mental and emotional health, and reinforcing creativity as a lifelong practice.
