About We Art One
What began as a small studio at YoHo—known for its jam sessions and paint-and-sips—has grown into We Art One Artist Collective, an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit rooted in a repurposed school building at 229 North Broadway in Yonkers, New York. Today, our campus spans two floors dedicated to artists, exhibitions, education, and community gathering.
When you step inside We Art One Studios, you enter a living, breathing space where creativity, community, and care intersect. Home to affordable private and shared artist studios, residencies, mentorship, workshops, and year-round public programming, our campus is both a working creative space and a welcoming destination for people of all ages.
Our collective includes muralists, painters, photographers, multimedia artists, wearable designers, and craft makers whose work reflects the rich cultures, stories, and perspectives of our community. Through exhibitions, installations, workshops, and partnerships with schools, senior centers, and neighborhood organizations, We Art One invites everyone to experience the healing power of the arts—not just as spectators, but as participants.
Art is our one true global language. It knows no nation, it favors no race, and it acknowledges no class. It speaks to our need to reveal, heal, and transform. It transcends our ordinary lives and lets us imagine what is possible.

Our Mission
We Art One Artist Collective, Inc. is dedicated to expanding access to the power of art for personal growth, social healing, and collective well-being. Through free and affordable programs, we equip artists, youth, and community members with the space, resources, and opportunities to create and thrive through studios, residencies, mentorship, professional development, and arts education.
By fostering collaboration and producing exhibitions, public programs, and educational experiences, we champion creative equity and strengthen communities. More than an arts organization, We Art One is a movement to ensure that art is not only seen, but deeply felt and accessible to all.
Spanning a range of disciplines, our collective is a mix of long-term Studio Residents and teaching artists who help fulfill our mission. These artists shape the culture of We Art One through shared knowledge, participation in programs and events, and a commitment to ethical, sustainable artistic practice.
