Open Studio for Teens

A supportive creative space where teens explore interests, experiment with materials, and work at their own pace

Open Studio for Teens is a weekly, mentorship-based creative space where young people can explore art at their own pace while building confidence, skills, and community. Designed as both a studio and a classroom, the program provides access to quality materials, professional artist mentors, and a supportive environment where teens feel safe to express themselves.

Participants are encouraged to experiment across mediums, develop personal projects, and learn foundational techniques through informal demos, one-on-one guidance, and peer collaboration. More than a traditional class, Open Studio centers relationship-building, creative autonomy, and social-emotional growth. Many participants join specifically seeking a safe place to create—and consistently report increased confidence and self-expression through their time in the studio.

Open Studio for Teens reflects We Art One’s commitment to arts education that is accessible, culturally responsive, and rooted in care, creativity, and belonging.
