PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Creative Futures / Futuros Creativos is a FREE 3-month cohort-based accelerator for emerging and mid-career visual artists.
This is not an art technique program. Instead, Creative Futures/Futuros Creativos focuses on the real-world skills artists need to build sustainable creative careers, from pricing and marketing their work to managing clients, understanding contracts, finding new sources of income, and planning for growth.
Participants will learn alongside fellow artists, mentors, We Art One staff, and creative industry professionals. Programming is hands-on, collaborative, and designed to be immediately useful to each artist's creative practice. Participants will also receive a microgrant upon successful completion of the program.
Throughout the program, the Creative Futures/Futuros Creativos Program Coordinator and We Art One leadership will be available to provide guidance, connect artists with resources, and help ensure the program responds to the needs and goals of the cohort.
